Our customer D. La Porte Söhne GmbH, based in Wuppertal, Germany, manufactures high-precision locks and fittings for the leading commercial vehicle manufacturers in the off-highway sector, which have to withstand the toughest stresses – and has been doing so for almost 160 years as a fifth-generation family business.

When casting the parts, harmful oil vapors and aerosols are produced that must be effectively extracted. At the same time, the 4 casting machines, which work simultaneously in 2-shift operation, really heat up the hall. With our oil mist separator, the fine particles are now filtered out of the air and the clean exhaust air is led outside. To cool the hall, fresh air is constantly supplied. And our technical manager Martin Prokisch has come up with something very special for this.
