Today Marc has reached Kathmandu at 1,400 m, where he will acclimatize until Friday and meet for the first time his 30-member team of local Sherpas, yak guides, kitchen crew and his fellow climbers. On Friday he will continue to the Himalayas and from there on foot towards Manaslu, the “mountain of the soul”. 🏔

🧗🏻Der Manaslu is with 8,163 m one of the 14 eight-thousanders and eighth-highest mountain in the world. Within 30 days, Marc Grün will prepare for the summit climb.
